| Equipment designed by INTA, for which RAMEM s.a. supplied the majority of the mechanical components for the structural and thermal (STM), engineering (EM), qualification (QM) and flight (FM) models. The OMC is an optical telescope that, due to its wide range CCD camera, will provide great precision in the observation of astronomical phenomena. It will allow the observation of up to 200 objects simultaneously and will provide the highest precision achieved so far in space research. The camera has the capacity to cool down without refrigeration and it has been manufactured in special alloys: Titanium and INVAR.
